wxModeler is just beginning its development, so the number of functions is restricted.

  • You can change perspective mode (orthogonal or perspective) via the button.
  • To rotate the scene according to the global center, use the button.
  • To rotate the scene according to the local center defined by your objects, use the button.
  • In view control mode, you can rotate the scene with the left mouse button, zoom with the middle button and pan with the right button.
  • The drawing is based on planar projection; you can choose what kind of orthogonal plane you need with the , and buttons; you can translate these planes along their normal vector with the mouse wheel.
  • Draw points with the button. By clicking and dragging, you can choose the placement on the active plane; release click to validate your entry.
  • Draw segments with the button. By clicking and dragging, you can choose the point placement on the active plane; release click to validate your entry. The right click allows you to start a new segment.
  • Draw Bezier curves with the button. By clicking and dragging, you can choose the control point placement on the active plane; release click to validate the control point. Each new point will increase the degree of the curve. The right click allows you to start a new Bezier curve.
  • You can change the number of subdivisions for all Bezier curves through the Options → Subdivisions menu.
